Accessibility
A quiet tool should be easy for everyone to use. If anything here, or in Skapa itself, gets in your way, we want to hear about it.
The standard we aim for
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How the site is built
- Plain, structured HTML with headings, landmarks and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focus is always visible.
- Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios in both light and dark appearance, and the site follows your Mac’s or device’s appearance setting.
- The site follows your settings for reduced motion, increased contrast and forced colours.
- Text can be enlarged to 200 percent without anything being lost.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and keyboard shortcuts are spelled out for screen readers.
- There is no JavaScript, nothing that moves on its own and nothing that times out.
How we check
Every change to the site is checked automatically for valid HTML, for colour contrast and for the structure described above before it can be published. We also test by hand with VoiceOver and the keyboard.
Tell us
If you find something that is hard to use, write to support@skapa-photo.com and tell us the page and what happened. We will answer, and fix what we can.
